About The Position

This posting is for a Regular Part-Time Professor position in French Grammar – Beginner (FLS1513, Section B00) for the Fall 2026 semester at the University of Ottawa's Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute (OLBI). The course focuses on the fundamental principles of French grammar, including conjugation, adjectives, pronouns, and sentence structure. The position is limited to Regular Part-Time Professors.

Requirements

• Master's degree in French as a Second Language didactics or a relevant field for teaching French as a Second Language.
• Two years of experience teaching FLS at the university level, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with software and technology relevant to teaching French as a Second Language courses.
• Any professor who taught an FLS/ESL course at OLBI before January 1, 2018, is considered to meet the educational requirement.
