About The Position

This is a Regular Part-Time Professor position for the PSY4772 course, Clinical Psychology, during the Fall 2026 semester at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Psychology. The course covers roles, practices, and ethical issues in clinical psychology, assessment, intervention modalities and orientations, and the role of research. The course component is a lecture, and it is proposed to be delivered in-person. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. The hiring process will be governed by the current APTPUO collective agreements. Requirements

Ph.D. in Psychology with specialization in Clinical Psychology
Competence in French (language of instruction)
Successful completion of all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.

Responsibilities

Deliver the PSY4772 Clinical Psychology course, covering roles, practices, and ethical issues in clinical psychology, assessment, intervention modalities and orientations, and the role of research.
Maintain the originally assigned mode of course delivery (in-person).
Promptly inform the School of Psychology Secretariat if a class needs to be cancelled.
Arrange for a suitable replacement instructor in advance of any known absence.
