About The Position

The Civil Law Section of the Faculty of Law is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor for the Winter 2027 semester to teach Company Law III: Financial Law (DRC4593, Section AA00). This course offers a de-siloed approach to the law governing corporate finance, banking, and capital markets. It covers the legal supervision and regulation of the financial sector in Canada, the legal relationships between financial institutions and their clients, and the objectives and essential components of securities law.

Requirements

  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
  • Competence in French is required for instruction.
  • Passive competence in a second language is required.
