About The Position

The Faculty of Law, Civil Law Section, is seeking to recruit part-time professors who distinguish themselves by their expertise and play a leading role in the legal profession. This course, DCC3506, covers an introduction to labor law, including negotiation, accreditation, collective agreements, conflict resolution methods, and various statutory laws.

Requirements

• Hold an LL.L. or LL.B. (or equivalent).
• Be a member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec, the bar of another province, or the Chambre des notaires du Québec.
• Have significant and relevant experience in the field covered by this course and/or hold a graduate degree in this field and/or have contributed to research through academic publications demonstrating recognized expertise in this field.
• The fact of having university teaching experience in a law faculty is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Teach the course Droit du travail (DCC3506) during the 2027 Winter Semester.
• Deliver instruction in French.
• Conduct classes on Fridays from 17:30 to 20:30 virtually.
