About The Position

The Production Worker is responsible for safely operating production equipment according to standard operating procedures and assisting in various areas of the manufacturing process as directed. The role supports plant goals and customer requirements, with safety as the top priority. It reports directly to the Shift Supervisor.

The position is located in Merced, California, and is scheduled for the second shift, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. Overtime and Saturdays may be required. Training will take place on first shift for approximately one month before moving to second shift. Pay is $22.96 per hour, plus a $0.40 second-shift premium.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate production equipment using standard operating procedures.
• Assist in various areas of the manufacturing process as directed.
• Catch, bundle, and stack partitions.
• Catch strips and feed hoppers properly.
• Identify bad partitions and separate them from quality product.
• Work toward plant goals and customer requirements.
• Follow safety regulations and keep an orderly, clean work area.
