About The Position

Bunzl Safety is hiring a Production Worker for its Value Added Services (VAS) department at its facility in Piperton, Tennessee. The role assembles boxes and makes alterations to products, while learning the procedures and product information needed to meet company objectives and ensure the quality and quantity of production. The position works Monday through Friday on the second shift, from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Label, bag, box, inspect, and prepare finished goods for shipping in the Value Added Services department.
• Ensure VAS products are defect-free and produced according to quality control procedures.
• Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Conduct operations safely and in accordance with OSHA standards.
