About The Position

The Production Worker is responsible for safely operating production equipment according to standard operating procedures and assisting in various areas of the manufacturing process as directed. The role supports plant goals and customer requirements, with safety as the top priority. The position is located in Merced, California, and reports directly to the Shift Supervisor. The second shift runs from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Monday through Friday. Overtime and Saturdays may be required. Training takes place on first shift for approximately one month before moving to second shift. The wage is $22.96 per hour, plus a $0.40 second-shift premium.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Catch, bundle, and stack partitions.
• Catch strips and feed hoppers properly.
• Identify defective partitions and separate them from quality product.
• Operate production equipment safely using standard operating procedures.
• Assist in various areas of the manufacturing process as directed.
• Work toward plant goals and customer requirements.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain an orderly, clean work area.
