About The Position

Legacy Turkey is hiring Production Workers for its Evis 1st shift in Melrose, Minnesota. The role involves operating and maintaining machinery and packaging, labeling, boxing, cutting, and/or unracking turkey products to meet production standards, finalize products, and prepare them for shipping. Workers help achieve production goals, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure that safe, wholesome, quality products are produced by following good manufacturing practices and safety rules. Position-specific duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed, from 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Shifts may last 8 to 10 hours. Work takes place on concrete floors in temperatures ranging from 32 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit, with repetitive motions and lifting items up to 35 pounds. Employees work as part of large groups and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to perform repetitive motions, including twisting, turning, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to work 8- to 10-hour shifts on concrete floors in temperatures ranging from 32 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to work as part of a team with large groups of people.
• Wear required personal protective equipment, including a hair net, hard hat, ear protection, safety glasses, and boots as applicable.

Responsibilities
