About The Position

Production Hourly team members work on a poultry processing line to help deliver safe, high-quality products. Work includes cutting, trimming, packaging, and/or inspecting products to meet food safety and quality standards. Team members operate equipment, keep work areas clean, and follow safety and biosecurity guidelines in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and teamwork are important. The position is for evisceration on first shift in Enterprise, Alabama. The schedule is Monday through Friday, five 8-hour shifts, from 5:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.; some weekend work is required. The base rate is $17.65 per hour, with a shift differential for third shift only. High school diploma or GED is preferred, and poultry or food industry experience is a plus. New team members undergo post-offer drug, alcohol, and background checks before starting work.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products using tools, manual labor, and equipment according to USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and promptly report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team members by sharing skills and knowledge and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.
• Work in different production areas as needed.
