About The Position

NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. is looking for Production/Warehouse associates to join their team. Operations departments function in a warehouse or manufacturing environment where associates may be exposed to moderate amounts of dust, dirt, and odors from packaging materials and propane-powered forklifts, as well as noise from production equipment. Temperatures can vary throughout the year. Associates will frequently operate a computer, read, write, and interact with others in person, over the phone, and via other devices. They will move about within the facility and may travel to other locations. A pre-employment drug screen and background investigation are required for employment.

Requirements

• Must pass pre-employment physical to test ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently; squat, stand, walk, twist bend consistently for entire work shift.
• Background check and drug test required. (Standard for background check is no felonies in past 7 years, no more than 3 misdemeanors in past 3 years, and no crimes of violence).

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming inventory items and stock them in proper locations.
• Pick and pack inventory items according to the production schedule and customer specifications.
• Stage and ship inventory items according to the production schedule and customer specifications.
• Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles including forklifts, tuggers, stock pickers, turret trucks, high pay pickers, pallet jacks, etc., to fulfill business/customer needs and delivery.
• Report any problems or concerns immediately to leadership.
• Report suggestions for improvements on a process to improve quality/safety within the job.
• Maintain working knowledge of production systems and perform various tasks within the system.
• Follow 5s standards and keep a clean and safe working environment in the specified area/department.
• Observe all safety precautions and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment.
