About The Position

The Production Trainer provides high-quality training to employees in the coatings department, including new hires and employees cross-training into new roles. The trainer uses Marvin values to provide customer service, patience, and support throughout the training process.

The Manufacturing Trainer delivers technical and tactical training to hourly product and non-product production team members. Training takes place at the job station and helps employees learn new roles in the department. When no training is needed, the trainer works in production roles.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of the assembly process within the department.

Responsibilities

• Train employees on job processes on the production line.
• Mentor and coach current employees during execution of their training plans to support employment success.
• Provide operations leadership with information and support regarding employee progress.
• Use materials produced by the learning and development team when appropriate.
• Identify and assess operations staff training needs in consultation with leadership.
• Read visual and written instructions on a computer.
• Operate hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble product.
• Perform production work when there is no immediate need for training.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
