About The Position

The Production Trainer provides high-quality training to employees in the UCA department, including new employees and employees cross-training into new roles. The trainer uses Marvin values to provide customer service, patience, and support. The role delivers technical and tactical training to hourly product and non-product builders at their job stations, helping employees learn new department roles. When training is not needed, the trainer works in production roles.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of the department's assembly process.

Responsibilities

• Train employees on job processes on the production line.
• Mentor and coach current employees while they execute their training plans.
• Provide operations leadership with information and support regarding employee progress.
• Use materials produced by the Learning and Development team when appropriate.
• Identify and assess operations staff training needs in consultation with leadership.
• Read visual and written instructions on a computer.
• Operate hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble products.
• Work in production roles when training is not needed.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
