About The Position

McKee Foods is seeking a Production Trainee for its Gentry, Arkansas location. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Trainee works on a high-speed production line to help package snack cakes efficiently and accurately. Duties include packaging and inspecting finished food products, monitoring production processes, collaborating with team members, meeting production schedules and quotas, and following safety and housekeeping protocols. The position is on-site at Plant 3 and is scheduled Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The posted pay is $18.66–$20.42 per hour, plus a $2.00-per-hour premium for third-shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with packaging and inspection of finished food products.
• Package unwrapped snack cakes into individual wrapping.
• Place wrapped snack cakes into cartons.
• Fill cases with cartons of snack cakes.
• Arrange cases onto pallets for shipment using specified stacking patterns.
• Monitor production processes to meet quality and productivity targets.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and troubleshoot issues.
• Follow production schedules and meet production quotas.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
