About The Position

The 2nd Shift Production Technician is an entry-level manufacturing position responsible for learning and performing fundamental production processes involved in manufacturing thermocouples and related temperature-sensing products. Under close supervision, the technician performs standardized assembly, fabrication, inspection, and material-handling tasks while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read basic work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Willingness to learn multiple manufacturing processes.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic thermocouple manufacturing operations according to established work instructions.
• Assemble, strip, plug, wash, weld, cut, or prepare components as assigned.
• Learn to use manufacturing equipment and hand tools properly.
• Read and follow work orders, travelers, drawings, and production documentation.
• Perform visual inspections to identify obvious quality issues.
• Maintain organized and clean workstations using 5S principles.
• Report equipment issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to supervision.
• Follow quality, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Meet production expectations while maintaining workmanship standards.
• Cross-train in multiple entry-level production processes.
