About The Position

The Production Technician supports the production department by meeting productivity and quality standards. The role performs assigned operational tasks, helps train technicians, promotes safe work practices, and supports production data management and technical evaluation. It also leads and directs operators to help ensure production integrity and contributes to analysis of production trends and performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Resolve practical problems and handle varied concrete situations where limited standardization exists.
• Perform operational tasks assigned through the Master Task List.
• Train technicians on plant operations.
• Promote a safe and healthy production environment and follow safe work practices.
• Maintain high performance standards characterized by integrity.
• Support field personnel and engineering staff with production data management.
• Lead and direct operators to ensure production integrity.
• Create production graphs and analyze production trends using Aries, DSS, Excel, and Access.
• Develop a failure database for artificial lift and assist in analyzing performance.
• Support the team's data management and technical evaluation efforts.
• Recommend approaches to streamline the team's data management.
