About The Position

The Associate Technician supports the production department by meeting productivity and quality standards. The role includes following work instructions, setting up and calibrating equipment, identifying quality and workflow issues, helping train associates, sharing information with supervisors and teammates, and supporting safe and orderly operations. This is a second-shift, full-time position.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and meet strict deadlines.
Reliable attendance and punctuality, including adherence to break and lunch periods.

Responsibilities

Follow work instructions and motivate others to do so.
Complete equipment calibration and setup, and promptly communicate maintenance issues to the Supervisor.
Identify quality, process, and workflow problems and inform the Supervisor of outstanding or recurring issues.
Participate in training Associates, mentor new hires, and cross-train Associates as needed.
Communicate and share information and expectations with the Supervisor; participate in team meetings and focus groups and offer input on facility issues.
Treat Associates with respect and dignity, demonstrate a positive attitude, and report issues or concerns to the Supervisor.
Support management decisions, communicate concerns when appropriate, and assist the Team Leader and Supervisor in their duties.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and notify the Supervisor of potential safety or health issues.
Support, follow, and monitor safety requirements and provide feedback when necessary.
Adhere to company policies.
