About The Position

The Associate Technician supports the production department by meeting productivity and quality standards. The role involves following work instructions, calibrating and setting up equipment, identifying and communicating quality, process, workflow, maintenance, and safety concerns, and helping train and mentor associates. The Associate Technician also communicates with supervisors, participates in team meetings and focus groups, supports team leadership, maintains a clean and safe work area, and follows company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and meet strict deadlines.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, including adherence to break and lunch periods.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to work instructions and motivate others to follow them.
• Complete equipment calibration and setup, and promptly communicate maintenance issues to the Supervisor.
• Identify quality, process, and workflow problems and inform the Supervisor of outstanding or recurring issues.
• Participate in training Associates, mentor new hires, and cross-train associates as needed.
• Communicate information and expectations with the Supervisor; participate in team meetings and focus groups and offer input on facility issues.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and treat associates with respect and dignity; report issues or concerns to the Supervisor.
• Support management decisions, communicate concerns when appropriate, and assist the Team Leader and Supervisor in carrying out their duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and notify the Supervisor of potential safety or health issues.
• Support, follow, and monitor safety requirements, providing immediate feedback when necessary.
• Maintain adherence to company policies.
