About The Position
The Production Technician supports the production department by meeting productivity and quality standards. The role performs assigned operations tasks, helps maintain a safe and healthy production environment, and supports production data management and technical evaluation. The technician also trains other technicians, leads and directs operators to ensure production integrity, creates and analyzes production graphs and trends, and recommends improvements to the team’s data-management processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Resolve practical problems and handle varied situations where limited standardization exists.
- Perform operations tasks assigned through the Master Task List.
- Provide training to technicians on plant operations.
- Promote a safe and healthy production environment and follow safe work practices.
- Maintain high performance standards characterized by integrity.
- Support field personnel and engineering staff in production data management.
- Lead and direct operators to ensure production integrity.
- Create production graphs and analyze production trends using Aries, DSS, Excel, and Access.
- Develop a failure database for artificial lift and assist in analyzing performance.
- Support the team’s data-management and technical-evaluation efforts.
- Recommend new approaches to streamline the team’s data management.
