About The Position

The Distribution Clerk provides merchandise stored in the Distribution Center for distribution to new and existing stores. The role receives, processes, stocks, picks, and prepares merchandise for stores and shipment, following established procedures and replenishment schedules. The clerk also completes projects assigned by the DC Supervisor and/or Manager.

Requirements

At least 1 year of executive experience.
Excellent mathematical aptitude and numerical recognition.
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors/Manager.
Ability to communicate and cooperate with DC associates.
Ability to use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to stand or walk for up to 10 hours.
Ability to interact professionally with corporate and non-corporate personnel.

Nice To Haves

Prior distribution center or warehouse experience.
Optical knowledge and/or experience working in a production environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Receive incoming merchandise/product.
Process merchandise/product according to established procedures.
Stock merchandise/product in the appropriate location.
Pick merchandise according to established procedures and the replenishment schedule.
Prepare merchandise/product for new stores.
Prepare merchandise/product for shipment.
Complete projects assigned by the DC Supervisor and/or Manager.
