About The Position

The Associate Technician supports the production department by meeting productivity and quality standards. The role follows work instructions, completes equipment calibration and setup, and communicates maintenance or recurring quality, process, and workflow issues to the Supervisor. The Associate Technician also participates in training and mentoring associates, communicates with the Supervisor and team, supports management decisions, and helps maintain a clean and safe work area while adhering to company policies and safety requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and meet strict deadlines.
Reliable attendance and punctuality, including adherence to break and lunch periods.

Responsibilities

Follow work instructions and motivate others to follow them.
Complete equipment calibration and setup, and promptly communicate maintenance issues to the Supervisor.
Identify quality, process, and workflow problems and inform the Supervisor of outstanding or recurring issues.
Participate in training associates, mentor new hires, and cross-train associates as needed.
Communicate information and expectations with the Supervisor; participate in team meetings and focus groups and provide input on facility issues.
Treat associates with respect and dignity, maintain a positive attitude, and report issues or concerns to the Supervisor.
Support management decisions, communicate concerns when appropriate, and assist the Team Leader and Supervisor in carrying out their duties.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and notify the Supervisor of potential safety or health issues.
Support, follow, and monitor safety requirements and provide feedback when necessary.
Adhere to company policies.
