About The Position

The Production Sanitation Technician protects product quality by maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant production environment. The role delivers consistent, documented sanitation in accordance with company procedures, food safety expectations, and ISO standards. Working the second shift, the technician sanitizes production equipment, verifies cleaning effectiveness, manages cleaning supplies, and cross-trains on multiple machines. The position requires passing a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Requirements

Comfort handling chemicals.

Responsibilities

Sanitize processing and production equipment using approved chemicals and methods.
Follow standard operating procedures and complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklists.
Verify sanitation effectiveness, test detergent concentrations, and document results.
Track and restock detergents and cleaning supplies.
Support recycling by operating crushers after receiving company training.
Wear required personal protective equipment and follow chemical-handling, food safety, and ISO expectations.
Cross-train on multiple pieces of machinery and assist with assigned tasks.
Review the sanitation plan, stage supplies for upcoming cleaning, adapt to changing priorities, and complete a final walkthrough and documentation.
