About The Position

Concept2 is seeking a skilled and motivated craftsperson to join its Oar Production team at its headquarters in Morrisville, Vermont. The role involves crafting oars, including products used by the majority of Olympic rowers. The successful candidate will be trained in the work and will support production and broader business needs. This is a full-time position. Compensation consists of a fixed salary range of $50,000–$60,000, plus participation in a quarterly variable wage program based on company and employee performance that adds significantly to total compensation. Requirements

At least one year of professional experience working with your hands.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with a variety of shop tools.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Suite.
Willingness and ability to work with carbon fiber material, epoxy resins, and dust.
Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
High school diploma or equivalent certification.
Authorization to work in the United States now and in the future; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

Handle carbon fiber material and epoxy resins.
Mold component parts, shafts, and blades.
Cut and finish parts.
Assemble molded parts into finished products.
Test, inspect, and box oars.
Notice and solve problems proactively and collaboratively.
Attend and contribute to team meetings.
Repair oars.
Clean up work areas and perform other duties that assist and support Production and business needs.
