About The Position

Greenheck Group is an environmentally responsible manufacturer of commercial HVAC systems, designing and producing air movement and ventilation solutions for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities worldwide. The Production Team Member works in one of several production areas, including crating, assembly, or material handling. Work locations include Schofield, Mosinee, and Wausau. Team members must be able to work all three shifts. Training takes place on first shift for a designated period before transitioning to either second or third shift.

Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds during an 8-hour work shift.
• Bend, stoop, push, and pull in a busy work environment for up to an 8-hour work shift.
• Frequently climb a ladder and/or scaffolding during an 8-hour work shift.
• Stand for up to an 8-hour work shift.
• Grip, manipulate, and hold small parts with fingers.
• Hear different types of sounds, decibels, and tones, including alarms, sirens, and mechanical equipment.
• See without visual impairments in depth, peripheral, color, and acuity, with visual acuity of 20/40 or better.
• Be able to work all three shifts; training is on first shift before transitioning to second or third shift.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine the appropriate wood angle and length for product crates.
• Cut wood with a saw and assemble crates using a pneumatic nail or staple gun to protect products during transit.
• Assemble sheet-metal components into finished products using general hand tools, power tools, floor cranes, and other equipment.
• Perform material-handling tasks such as packing orders, operating a forklift, and stocking materials.
• Complete forklift training and certification provided by Greenheck if assigned to forklift driving.

Benefits

• Competitive pay with a minimum starting rate of $23.01/hour or $23.07/hour, with regular increases reaching $24.92/hour or $25.20/hour.
