About The Position

Continental Linen Services is looking for a motivated, bilingual leader who is passionate about workplace safety, team member development, and operational excellence. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Production, Maintenance, and HR teams to help keep our Kalamazoo facilities safe, compliant, productive, and team-focused.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and professionalism
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support workplace safety initiatives across production facilities
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
  • Assist with incident investigations and corrective action follow-up
  • Coordinate safety training, orientations, and ongoing education
  • Support MIOSHA, EPA, PPE, lockout/tagout, and other compliance programs
  • Monitor injury trends and identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Help maintain emergency preparedness programs and safety documentation
  • Coordinate and facilitate production training programs
  • Create engaging training materials and educational resources
  • Support onboarding and hands-on team member development
  • Identify training opportunities that improve operational performance
  • Work alongside leaders to strengthen team member success and growth
  • Manage recruiting efforts for production positions
  • Conduct candidate screening, interviews, job previews, and onboarding
  • Build relationships with community organizations, schools, and employment partners
  • Track performance reviews, attendance, productivity, and team member documentation
  • Create visual communication materials for safety and recruiting initiatives
  • Support reporting, payroll/timekeeping adjustments, and maintenance system updates
