About The Position
The Production Planning and Scheduler plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and coordinates material requirements to maintain a controlled flow of approved materials that meets production needs. The role advises management on work-in-progress status, material availability, and potential production problems so that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are available as needed. The position schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demand, and prepares work orders or purchase requests for production or purchase of components or parts, based on the master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements. It coordinates activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, and traffic, and schedules and expedites parts movement through move orders, stock transfers, and shipping-order requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 0 years of relevant exempt experience, or an accepted equivalent qualification.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

- Exposure to network scheduling techniques is highly preferred.

- Schedule and expedite parts movement through move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.
