About The Position

Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and coordinates material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. Advises management on work-in-progress status, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed. Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demand, and prepares work orders or purchase requests for producing or purchasing components or parts based on the master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements. Coordinates activities across departments, including quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, and traffic. Schedules and expedites the movement of parts through move orders, stock transfers, and shipping-order requests.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 4 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree or above and 0 years of experience.
