About The Position

The Production Planning and Scheduler plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules, coordinating material requirements to ensure approved materials flow in a controlled manner and are timed to meet production requirements. The role advises management on work-in-progress status, material availability, and potential production problems so personnel, equipment, materials, and services are available as needed. The position schedules equipment and personnel; confirms material supply and demand; prepares work orders or purchase requests for production or purchase of components and parts based on the master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements. It coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, and traffic, and schedules and expedites parts movement through move orders, stock transfers, and shipping-order requests.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 4 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree or above and 0 years of experience.

Responsibilities
