About The Position

Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) Bruce has an immediate opening for a Night Production Operator. No experience is required, and training is provided. The position works a 2-2-3 schedule from 4:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Pay is $23.65 per hour, plus a $1.50 shift premium. The operator works in different areas of the plant handling ingredients and finished products, while following safety, food safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Dependability and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work weekends or holidays, if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Handle ingredients and finished products in different areas of the plant by measuring, batching, mixing, bagging, organizing, and stacking.
• Keep the warehouse and production floor organized.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with state and federal health and safety regulations.
• Follow DFA good manufacturing practices and corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
• Demonstrate DFA's values and ethics through honesty, discretion, and sound judgment.
• Follow DFA Quality, Safety, and GMP policies and procedures, and report nonconformities.
• Attend required training, including Safety, GMP, HACCP, and SQF.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
