About The Position

The Production Operator performs assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products, systems, and panels, including packing when integrated with production lines. The role involves reading technical diagrams and instructions, carrying out assembly manually or with light hand tools, and using machinery and equipment on the shop floor. The operator conducts regular quality testing as part of a defined production process, follows standard operating procedures, and maintains a clean work area. This is an onsite position in Mebane, North Carolina, reporting to the Integrated Production Unit Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge and use of tools such as tape measures, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
• Must already have work authorization permitting employment with ABB in the United States.

• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
