About The Position

The Production Operator assembles semi-finished or final products, systems, and panels, including packing when integrated with production lines. The role involves interpreting technical diagrams and assembly instructions, working manually or with light hand tools, and using machinery and equipment on the shop floor. The operator performs regular quality testing as part of defined production processes, follows standard operating procedures, and maintains a clean work area. This is an onsite first-shift position in Mebane, North Carolina, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of and ability to use tools such as tape measures, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
• Must already have work authorization permitting employment with ABB in the United States.

• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
