About The Position

The Production Operator assembles semi-finished or final products, systems, and panels, including packing when integrated with production lines. The role involves reading and interpreting technical diagrams and assembly instructions, performing work manually or with light hand tools, and using machinery and equipment on the shop floor. The operator conducts regular quality testing within a defined production process, follows standard operating procedures, and maintains a clean work area. This is an onsite, first-shift position in Mebane, North Carolina, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge and use of tools such as tape measures, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
• Must already have work authorization that permits employment with ABB in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
