About The Position

ABB is hiring an onsite Production Operator in Mebane, North Carolina, for its Distribution Solutions Division. The role involves assembling semi-finished or final products, systems, and panels, including packing when integrated with production lines. The operator reads and interprets technical diagrams and instructions, performs tasks manually or with light hand tools, and uses machinery and equipment on the shop floor. The position also includes routine quality testing within defined production processes and following standard operating procedures while maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge and use of tools such as tape measures, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
• Must already have work authorization permitting employment with ABB in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
