About The Position

ABB is hiring a Production Operator for onsite work in Mebane, North Carolina. The role involves assembling semi-finished or finished products, systems, and panels, including packing when integrated with production lines. The operator reads and interprets technical diagrams and instructions, performs work manually or with light hand tools, and uses shop-floor machinery and equipment. The position also carries out regular quality testing within a defined production process and follows standard operating procedures while maintaining a clean work area. The position reports to the Integrated Production Unit Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge and use of tools such as tape measures, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
• Must already have work authorization permitting employment with ABB in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
