About The Position

The Production Operator conducts assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products, systems, or panels, including packing where it is integrated with production lines. The role involves interpreting technical diagrams and assembly instructions, performing work manually or with light hand tools, and using machinery and equipment on the shop floor. The operator carries out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process and follows standard operating procedures while maintaining a clean work area. This is an onsite position in Mebane, North Carolina, reporting to the Integrated Production Unit Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge and use of tools such as tape measures, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
• Must already have work authorization permitting employment with ABB in the United States.

• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
