About The Position

Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Production Operator for its Chaska, Minnesota bakery. The role operates automated production and packaging equipment, maintains food quality standards, and supports the overall production process. This is a second-shift position that requires weekend availability. The hourly pay range is $22.88–$23.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
Equipment and product knowledge.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and product issues.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in a fast-paced food production or packaging environment.
Familiarity with continuous improvement systems (AOE, Centerline, CIL).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Leadership or team coordination experience in a manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in basic computer systems and production data entry.

Responsibilities

Operate and adjust machinery and equipment to ensure accuracy and proper food specifications.
Assemble, set up, start, and stop equipment for start-ups, changeovers, and line-specific needs.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports.
Keep work areas, machinery, and equipment clean, organized, and safe.
Communicate relevant information to supervisors and co-workers.
Fill in for absent employees and operate all equipment on the line as needed.
Ensure ongoing compliance with GMPs and food safety standards.
Follow production schedules, running orders, and recipes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
