About The Position

Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Operator 3, Bakery-Production-3rd Shift for its bakery in Cayce, South Carolina. The role is accountable for operating and monitoring automated production and packaging equipment to support safe, efficient, and consistent bakery operations. It contributes to product quality, food safety compliance, production performance, and continuous operational flow.

The position works on third shift from 9:45 p.m. to 6:15 a.m., with weekends as required by the business.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing production needs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team-oriented production environment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Food manufacturing or bakery production experience.
• Experience operating automated production or packaging equipment.
• Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance practices.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated production and packaging equipment to achieve production and quality objectives.
• Adjust and troubleshoot equipment to maintain efficient operations and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and operational records.
• Perform equipment setup, startup, shutdown, and changeovers to support production requirements.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety standards, and established operating procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with production team members to achieve operational goals and drive efficiency.
