About The Position

An opportunity to join the team in Haverhill as a Production Operative on the night shift. Reporting to the Night Shift Supervisor, the role is responsible for the synthesis and purification of custom DNA. Full training will be provided, and previous experience is not required, although experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment is useful. Working hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Requirements

• Three GCSEs or equivalent, including Mathematics and English.
• Proficiency with computer-based systems.
• Ability to prioritize one’s workload and maintain good attention to detail.
• Proactive approach and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a similar production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
• Experience working with or following SOP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Use in-house DNA synthesis and purification platforms for desalting and reverse-phase purification processes.
• Prepare and operate synthesis and purification equipment, along with associated liquid-handling equipment.
• Monitor and replenish reagents as required.
• Prepare quality-control and quantification samples.
• Perform tasks according to production schedules, work instructions, and standards.
• Record run data on QMS paperwork and update databases and associated electronic forms to ISO 9001 standards.
