About The Position

The Production Machine Operator performs various tasks in the manufacturing of garage door springs. Opportunities are available in the spring commercial, conveyor, winding, coning, and stenciling departments. The role involves setting up and operating equipment, checking the quality of springs and component parts, and performing cleanup, product loading and unloading, cutting, and other general production duties as needed. This position frequently requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in using hand and measurement tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Dependability and willingness to learn.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment.
• Quality-check springs and component parts.
• Perform cleanup.
• Load and unload products.
• Cut products and perform other general production duties as needed.
