About The Position

Custom Building Products is hiring a Production Associate for its Las Vegas, Nevada plant. This is a second-shift role on a four-day, 10-hour schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. Overtime may be needed, and the position includes an additional $1.50 per hour shift premium. The company offers competitive pay and benefits, plus the opportunity for a pay increase of up to $1.00 per hour after 90 days, depending on performance.

The Production Associate works on the production floor alongside industrial machinery on fast-paced production lines, supporting production staff and department goals. Work must be performed safely and contribute to quality, service, and cost objectives. The role includes packaging products, off-loading production lines, following schedules and instructions from plant supervision, and maintaining a clean, orderly work environment. Employees work with other facility departments in a team-oriented environment, with hands-on training and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Solid previous work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating a forklift; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Package product and off-load production lines using manual, automated, or semi-automated equipment.
• Work closely with departments throughout the facility, including Production and Maintenance.
• Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Support production goals and safe achievement of quality, service, and cost objectives.
