About The Position

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of YellaWood brand pressure-treated pine, is seeking a Lumber Tagger for a second-shift position. This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and a full benefits package. The Tagger handles and moves lumber, assists with product assembly, attaches and verifies product tags, and records inventory. The position includes a $1.50 shift differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous production experience preferred.
• Lumber experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials.
• Stack and move lumber.
• Assist in assembling fence panels and other products using a nail gun.
• Attach product tag labels to merchandise, materials, or products using a handheld industrial stapler machine.
• Check items for proper identification.
• Report quality deficiencies, shortages, and damaged goods.
• Keep inventory records.
