About The Position

Custom Building Products is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for its Stockton, California plant. The role supports timely and accurate shipping and receiving and involves working closely with Production, Maintenance, and other facility departments. Operators work in a team environment and are not seated on a forklift for the entire shift; frequent movement and lifting are required. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with overtime as needed. A $1.50 per hour shift premium applies, and an increase of up to $1.00 per hour may be available after 90 days depending on job performance. Requirements

Experienced forklift operator.
Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
Ability to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
Proficient operation of a forklift and walkie rider; a driving test will be given at the interview.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Use a forklift or walkie rider to pick, ship, and/or receive products in a timely manner.
Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
Retrieve or put away material using a sit-down industrial forklift.
Ensure finished products meet quality standards.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
