About The Position

Bob’s Discount Furniture is hiring a Warehouse Associate - Receiving Tagger. The role labels and scans new merchandise after it has been unloaded to the dock. It also involves labeling cross-dock pieces, checking product label accuracy against the purchase order to ensure inventory is correct, and inspecting pieces for damage or potential packaging issues. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience in a warehouse atmosphere.
• Ability to work flexible hours as determined by department needs, including availability for weekends.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively, comprehend and communicate detailed instructions, read and write, and understand commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Label and scan new merchandise after it is unloaded to the dock.
• Label cross-dock pieces.
• Check product labels for accuracy against the purchase order to ensure inventory is correct.
• Inspect pieces for damage or potential packaging issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
