About The Position

This position is responsible for a variety of warehousing and distribution center activities, ranging from receiving to shipping operations. Responsibilities may include inventory control, expediting, order preparation, and documentation for order processing. The associate must perform well in a team environment and demonstrate a strong bias toward customer service.

Requirements

Must be able to work from pick lists and/or work orders.
Must follow procedures and directions exactly.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to read and understand bills of materials.
Must have extreme accuracy and focus.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Ability to use computers, communicate effectively, and operate in a high-volume, high-output environment.
Fluency in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

Ship and receive parts and packages from vendors or production points delivered to the receiving dock by various carriers.
Enter, view, and verify data using various Warehouse Management Systems via handheld devices.
Locate, pick, pack, and move materials using material handling equipment, and maintain equipment as needed, including walkies and hand trucks.
Process orders and expedite parts when required.
Load and unload trucks when assigned.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
