About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for loading and unloading delivery vehicles and handling incoming and outgoing shipments. The role includes selecting products, preparing and securing goods on pallets, moving inventory to designated delivery areas, unloading deliveries, and storing stock in assigned warehouse locations. The associate is expected to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Success requires the ability to follow instructions, work in an organized manner, and demonstrate a strong work ethic, focus, and problem-solving ability.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency operating a forklift is essential.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screening is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good moral character.
• Willingness to work in a cold environment around 35°F.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, and stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to frequently push, pull, bend, squat, and reach.
• Physical strength, agility, and dexterity, including ability to work at heights and in adverse climatic conditions.
• Positive work history and reliable attendance.
• Availability to work extended hours as required.
• Ability to competently operate a forklift, reach truck, and electric pallet jack.

Nice To Haves

• Prior work experience as a general laborer, particularly in a refrigerated warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Facilitate loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Receive inventory deliveries.
• Count and verify inventory accurately.
• Inspect inventory for damage or defects.
• Communicate discrepancies to the appropriate parties.
• Label and mark stock items.
• Store inventory so that it remains accessible.
• Load and wrap stock on pallets.
• Construct loads using a forklift and electronic pallet jack.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
