About The Position

The Tagger processes textile donations under the direction of the Team Leader and Production Team Leader. The role includes pricing and tagging textile donations and maintaining the work area’s image in accordance with Kaizen layout and processing standards. The position is full-time, based in Mesquite, Texas, and has a day shift.

Requirements

• Ability to adhere to the organization’s Core Principles.
• Knowledge of textile articles related to quality and garment classification, such as gowns, shirts, and pants.
• Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.
• Ability to listen to and follow directions.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push, and pull.
• Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side and lean and remove items from containers.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tag priced textile donations as they are processed onto proper rolling racks.
• Tag garments promptly to maintain the prescribed production level and follow established procedures.
• Keep the production area clean and safe, and clean other store areas as directed.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and follow the appropriate dress code, including wearing a name badge.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Production Team Leader.
