About The Position

The Production Line Associate performs a variety of production-focused tasks on a rotated basis to support daily production goals. The associate may be assigned to various functions within the processing department, with duties changing from day to day according to production needs and at the supervisor’s discretion. The role involves processing product with provided tools and equipment, following safety and USDA/GMP standards, maintaining an orderly work area, and assisting with cleanup during breaks and at the end of the shift. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Ability to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.

Nice To Haves

Able to read a scale and properly scale product to the correct weight according to specifications.
Some positions may require the ability to read, write, and/or speak English.

Responsibilities

Rotate among various functions within the processing department and perform department jobs as directed by a supervisor.
Perform production tasks that may vary day to day according to production needs.
Process product using provided tools and equipment.
Follow workplace safety policies and guidelines.
Observe equipment operation and notify appropriate personnel about malfunctions or safety issues.
Adhere to USDA and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) product standards and guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform repetitive manual labor and other assigned duties.
Communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
Remain alert and work safely.
Maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
Assist with cleanup during breaks and at the end of the shift.
