About The Position

TBC Corporation is hiring newly experienced and seasoned delivery drivers for a full-time Warehouse Delivery Driver position. Service and Delivery Drivers provide excellent customer service by delivering products safely and professionally using company vehicles, while also assisting with general warehouse maintenance and inventory organization. This position may provide opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

Safety-first mindset.
Maintain a current driver’s license appropriate for the types and classes of vehicles driven for company business.
Obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating an NTW vehicle.
Be at least 21 years old.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively while bending and twisting, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience; box truck and/or delivery experience preferred.
At least 1 year without at-fault accidents.
Clean motor vehicle record (MVR).

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles safely, efficiently, and courteously in accordance with TBC policies.
Pick, stage, and load trucks as requested.
Understand and follow DOT regulations, including hours-of-service requirements.
Maintain thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures.
Follow predetermined route sequencing when delivering tires and equipment to customers.
Handle cash-on-delivery payments by cash or check securely and according to company policy, when applicable.
Keep the vehicle and work area clean, safe, and secure.
Provide exceptional customer service consistent with the company’s People-Focused Values.
Report to work in a clean, laundered uniform provided by NTW.
Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently as needed.
Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations.
Perform other duties as requested or needed.
Abide by all federal, state, and local laws.
