About The Position

This position works with breeder servicemen and supervises and monitors hatchery production, egg pickup, inventory, and egg breakout while keeping costs as low as possible. The role oversees the production of healthy baby chicks for broiler grow-out and helps maintain a safe, bio-secure hatchery operation.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in a processing or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of hatchery operations for baby chicks.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recognize and advise when unsafe conditions are observed.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• College degree in a related field.

• Maintain accurate records and direct the workforce.
