About The Position

Haakon Industries is hiring a Finishing Laborer to perform the final steps before manufactured units ship to customers. The role involves installing final components, sealing and cleaning units, inspecting them for completeness and quality, and protecting them for transport. This is hands-on, safety-sensitive work requiring attention to detail, pride in finished work, and safe practices at all times. The position is Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 6:00 AM–2:30 AM, and a five-day work week. Starting pay is $22.00–$28.00 per hour based on experience, with structured increases at 90 days, six months, and one year, followed by annual reviews.

Requirements

• Proven experience using hand and power tools in a work setting.
• Forklift, shipping, or receiving experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Pride in producing clean, finished work.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to work safely in a production environment.

Nice To Haves

• Construction, manufacturing, or finishing/detail work experience.
• Experience with caulking, sealing, or similar tasks.
• Welding experience; helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install final components such as doors, louvers, and hardware.
• Caulk, seal, and prepare units for shipment.
• Clean and inspect units before they leave the production floor.
• Wrap and protect units for transport.
• Work with the team to meet daily production goals.
• Work safely in a production environment.
