About The Position

This position works with breeder servicemen to supervise and monitor hatchery production, egg pickup, inventory, and egg breakout at the lowest possible cost. The role oversees the production of healthy baby chicks for broiler grow-out and includes directing and training personnel, maintaining records, setting schedules, monitoring safety, and following bio-security programs. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in a processing or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of hatchery operations for baby chicks.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recognize and advise when unsafe conditions are observed.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• College degree in a related field preferred.
